Mike and Amy in Athens

We made it to Athens around 6pm and didn't get to our hotel 'Acropolis View' until 8pm.  Had a nice light meal (Greek salad and spinach stuffed crepe) and then went to bed before the grand walking tour of Athens the next day.  Took in the sights of this ancient city and enjoyed another Greek salad and a mixed plate of Greek appetizers.  Walked some more, got some moisture in the form of some sprinkles and then returned to the hotel to enjoy our view, write this blog post and then prepare for dinner.

  1. I love this! Congratulations on a life decision that will bring you much joy and happiness! We very nearly did the same thing with our family of 5 (inspired by another blogger family I had followed) until we moved to London, and have instead a modified version of the idea, a life lived with a priority to travel. Even with three kids (no strides broken here!) we're topping 40 countries this year. A life without travel is not living at all. I'll enjoy following your adventures here! Have fun!

  2. Traveling like a nomad sure is fun. Other than acquiring a nomad travel insurance for your protection, bringing along with you a camera to capture memories completes the trip. :)
